A panel discussion held as an endeavour to encourage young minds to contemplate the issues faced by the nation.
The discussion revolves around themes such as Impact of media on youth, India after 66 years of freedom.
Famous personalities who have agreed to grace the event over the years include Anna Hazare, ex-C.J.I V N Khare, Air Chief Marshall S P Tyagi, Aruna Roy, Brinda Karat, Mr S Y Quraishi and Sir Mark Tully.
Dr. A Sivathanu Pillai is an Indian scientist who held the rank of "Distinguished Scientist" from year
1999 to 2014 at the Defence Research and Development Organisation at the Ministry of Defence
of the Republic of India.He is also the founder-CEO and Managing Director of the BrahMos
Aerospace Private Limited. He is also referred to as the “Father of BrahMos”.
He has been awarded the Padma Shri in 2002 and Padma Bhushan in 2013 by the President of
India. He has also been awarded the Order of Friendship by the President of Russia in 2014 to
reward foreign nationals whose work, deeds and efforts were aimed at the betterment of relations
with the Russian Federation and its people.
Prashant Bhushan is an Indian lawyer, activist and politician. He is noted for his use of public
interest litigation (PIL) to support a number of causes related to corruption, environmental
protection and human rights. He was a prominent member of the India Against Corruption (IAC)
movement for the implementation of the Jan Lokpal Bill.
His main areas of interest have been human rights, environmental protection and accountability of
the public servants. He is associated with various organisations including the Centre for Public
Interest Litigation (CPIL), People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL), and Transparency International
(India). He is also the convenor of the Working Committee of the Campaign for Judicial
Accountability and Judicial Reforms.
Jayati Ghosh is a left leaning economist. She is a Professor of Economics at the Centre for
Economic Studies and Planning, School of Social Sciences, at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, in
New Delhi, India. Her specialities include globalization, international finance, employment patterns
in developing countries, macroeconomic policy, and issues related to gender and development.
It is little known, but she is very well educated in Western Classical music and occasionally
lectures on the genius of Mozart et al. Jayati Ghosh writes a regular column for the fortnightly
national magazine "Frontline" focusing mainly on economic issues related to the common man.
She was conferred International Labour Organisation's Decent Work Research Prize along with
Professor Eve Landau in February 2011.
An anchor in Rajya Sabha TV, he is also a freelance columnist for newspapers, magazines and online editorial writer for the New Indian Express. He also teaches journalism in colleges and journalism schools in Delhi and Noida.
Mr. Sudhir Vyas was the Ambassador of India in Germany from 2009- 2011. He is a distinguished alumnus of IIT Kanpur and is a Presidential Gold Medalist from the Class-of-75. He was amongst the first few IITians to change course and opt for an altogether different professional stream. He joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1977. He had wide ranging interests as a student at IIT Kanpur, from history to art, but he was especially known for his interest in and knowledge of wildlife, in particular, ornithology.

4. At least 1 team member must occupy the stage during the performance of respective teams.
5. It is strictly notified that the face-off is a hip-hop battle and deviation from hip-hop might result in negative marking.
6. Division of a team’s performance time amongst all team members is expected and will be included in the judging criteria.
Judging criteria:
