Blitzkreig may be the Finale event of the fest but it is the most coveted event of Antaragni as every year it witnesses the grand performance of the best Musicians of the country.This is the pinnacle of the festival when crowd is driven to a passion fueled frenzy by famous stars. This is the ultimate Bhokal as tidal waves of energy sweep off everything in their path.The concert gets registered forever on the minds of the crowd. Rules & regulations:
1.A team should have a minimum of 5 members. They can have a maximum of 25 members including backstage helpers.
2.The total performance duration of each team can be upto 6 minutes.
3.Use of props is allowed and encouraged. Any kind of fluid, flame or heavy object is not allowed on stage. Teams will be punished if their act causes any damage to the stage. After the act is finished, each team has to make sure that the stage is clean and in its initial condition.
4.Each performance should be based on a theme which should be clearly depictable. Teams have the freedom to choose any theme.
5.Performance has to be in contemporary dance style. Any deviation from this dance style will lead to deduction in points.

Estampie - the solo dance competition of Antaragni has been one of the most inviting of all. Each performer gives a versatile performance combining many dance forms. The finals, which consists of a face-off, is sure to leave the audience mesmerized.
Rules & regulations:
Dance styles can vary from western to classical to folk to the typical Bollywood style.
Elimination Round:
1. Contestant will have to perform a part of the prepared dance.
2. Music track for the elimination round should be a part of the prepared dance sequence i.e. the one to be performed in Round 1 of the finals.
Time limit: 1 minute.
Finals:
Round 1:
1. Full performance of the prepared dance.
2. Time limit: 5 minutes.
3. Participants are allowed to use props for a part of their performance.
Round 2:
1. This will be a competition/battle between any two randomly chosen participants with music given on the spot. The music tracks of the two participants will be mixed accordingly, switching from one participant to another.
2. Time limit: 2.5 minutes/participant.
Judging criteria:
Round 1:
Choreography, expressions, energy level, stage utilization, costumes and props, innovation, overall impact.
Round 2:
The aptness of choreography for the given music, energy level, presentation, innovation, uniqueness of dance and overall impact.
(Note: For Elimination round costumes and props won’t be included in the judging criteria, otherwise the judging criteria of elimination round are same as of round 1 of finals.)

Lavolta, the pair dance competition of Antaragni, has always been a crowd puller. The fabulous synchronisation of a pair with the added creativity is a treat to watch.
Rules & regulations:
1. It is a pair dance event. Any two individuals can pair up (irrespective of their gender) to participate in this event. There is no restriction on the dance form.
2. The pairs have to present their prepared performances.
3. Time limit: 5-6 minutes.
4. Usage of props is allowed for a part of the performance and is also marked for.
5. You are required to keep checking the website for any changes in the rules. They will be updated about 15 days before the festival dates.
Judging criteria:
Synchronization, choreography, expressions, energy level, effective presentation and depiction of the Jodi, usage of costumes and props, innovation and overall impact.

The western group dance competition is one of the flagship events of the festival. Over the past years the event has witnessed some spectacular performances and the teams have always made it difficult for the judges to choose the best.
Rules & regulations:
Team size
1. Elimination round and first round of the finals: Minimum 5 members and Maximum 20 members are allowed in a team. Minimum 5 and maximum 12 are allowed on the stage at a time.
2. Round 2: There is no constraint on the min. number of persons on the stage at a time.
Elimination round:
1. Teams will have to perform to a suitably edited part of the music from their main performance.
2. The music which is used in the elimination round has to be a part of the first round of the finals.
Time limit: 3 minutes.
Final Round:
Round 1:
1. Teams present their prepared performances.
2. Time limit: 7-10 minutes (music piece duration).
3. Costumes and props will be included in the judging criteria this round.
Round 2: Dance-Drama
1. Each of the selected teams get to depict a famous bollywood movie by their performance in this round.
2. The teams will be given the movie to be depicted in this round randomly from a list of movies after the prelims.
3. The teams have to depict the story of their respective movie without using the songs of the movie given to them.
4. Apart from the edited songs, usage of only the recorded voice of any team member (if needed) in the performance is permitted. Usage of songs from the given movie leads to disqualification of the team.
5. Also, it is strictly notified that this round is called Dance-Drama and thus the performance is expected to depict a dramatic situation with dance. Just a drama performance might not help your cause.
6. Time limit: 8 minutes.
Judging criteria:
Round 1:
Synchronization, choreography, expressions, energy level, stage utilization, costumes and props, overall impact, innovation and presentation. (Note: For Eliminations, costumes and props won't be included in the judging criteria otherwise the judging criteria of Eliminations are same as of Round 1 of Finals.

Drama: Effective creation of the theme of the movie, expressions, costume and props, innovation.

The folk dance competition truly depicts the varied culture and traditions of India. From Gujarat's Garba to Assam's Bihu dance, and from Punjab's Bhangra to Goa's Ghode Modni, the folk dance competition, Roots has been and will continue to add colours to the festival.

1. Teams have to perform one of the following dance forms: Alkap, Bhangra, Bhavai, Bihu, Cheraw (bamboo dance) , Chhau, Dhap, Dumhal, Gambhira,Garba (dandiya), Gaur dance, Ghoomar, Ghumura, Giddha, Gondhal, Jawara,Jhoomer, Kalbelia, Karakattam, Koli, Lavani, Naga dance, Odissi, Padhar, Raas.
2. If team wants to perform a form other than those mentioned above, they are required to contact the coordinators well in advance.
3. Time Limit: 5-10 minutes.
