JARTAGHAT (Music-prayer)
Jartaghart is a musical invocation, which precedes every program of Chhau
dance. The melody is a mixture of 泥esh and Malhar ragas-symbolic of peace
and plenty.
RADHA KRISHNA: (Shri Pradeep Bosa/Shri Parth Nath Pathal)
Love dance of eternal Man and eternal Women. The motive of this dance is
the mystic love of Radha and the cosmic lover of Krishna
CHANDRABHAGA; (Padmashri Gopal Prasad Dubey/Shri. Sanjay Karmakar)
The dance enacts the episode behind the creation of the Great Sun Temple
(Black Pagoda) of the Konarak in Orissa.

The artiste depicts the grace and beauty of the various movements of a
Swan while on land as well as in water.
Gyanendra Bajpai
Gyanendra is member of many selection committees and expert panels,
examiner and paper-setter of various universities/colleges. He has
submitted two research articles for UGC Refresher Courses "An Aesthetic
Vision" in and "Teaching Systems in Bharatanatyam".
Sanjana Tiwari
She started learning Kathak after attaining ten years of age from the
Prayag Sangeet Samiti under the able training of her revered Guru Pt. Ram
Babu Bhatt of Lucknow Gharana. She has just attained the age of 18, and
already is a Sangeet Prabhakar and Sangeet visharad, from the famous
Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad and Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh. She is a student of Pt.Birju Maharaj and a member of the International Dance Council, UNESCO
Baiga Dance
This dance is popular amongst the baiga tribe (Madhya Pradesh), performed
to welcome the wedding procession. in different guises of horse, bulls,
and peacocks, men perform this dance.
The folk dance competition truly depicts the varied culture and traditions of India. From Gujarat's Garba to Assam's Bihu dance, and from Punjab's Bhangra to Goa's Ghode Modni, the folk dance competition, Roots has been and will continue to add colours to the festival.
Rules & regulations:
1. Teams have to perform one of the following dance forms: Alkap, Bhangra, Bhavai, Bihu, Cheraw (bamboo dance) , Chhau, Dhap, Dumhal, Gambhira,Garba (dandiya), Gaur dance, Ghoomar, Ghumura, Giddha, Gondhal, Jawara,Jhoomer, Kalbelia, Karakattam, Koli, Lavani, Naga dance, Odissi, Padhar, Raas.
2. If team wants to perform a form other than those mentioned above, they are required to contact the coordinators well in advance.
3. Time Limit: 5-10 minutes.
4. Team size: minimum 6, maximum 12.
5. Costumes and props would be included in the judging criteria.
Judging Criteria:
Choreography, authenticity (costumes, props, stylistic elements, music etc.), energy, stage coverage, synchronization and overall impact.
**In case of conflicts, decision of the judges would be considered final.

Tour de Force is a flagship street dance event at Antaragni, where you enthral the audience in the typical hip hop culture with your breath taking stunts, body language and kill-offs. A crowd of a hundred dumbstruck people witness the amazing talent of young boys and girls battling each other, breathing life and versatility into each step they perform. This Antaragni gives you a platform to flaunt your moves and experience the energy on the dance floor like never before.
Rules & regulations:
Team size: minimum 5 and maximum 12
The event consists of 2 Rounds:
ROUND 1: ELIMINATION
1. Participant teams get to perform their prepared street dance sequence.
2. Time limit: 6-10 minutes (length of music track).
3. Live music is not allowed.
4. Props are not allowed.
5. Deviating from the dance style can lead to negative marking.
6. Hindi Bollywood music is strongly discouraged, it can lead to negative marking.
7. The dance floor will be a preferably rectangular one in an open arena.
ROUND 2: FACE-OFF
1. Out of all participants, the first 4 teams will qualify for this round.
2. This round comprises of teams taking part in street/hip-hop battle against each other.
According to the elimination round, the first ranked team will go on battle with the third ranked team and the second ranked with the fourth.
3. Each battle would be of 6 minutes with the two teams performing for 60 seconds alternately.
4. At least 1 team member must occupy the stage during the performance of respective teams.
5. It is strictly notified that the face-off is a hip-hop battle and deviation from hip-hop might result in negative marking.
6. Division of a team’s performance time amongst all team members is expected and will be included in the judging criteria.
Judging criteria:
*Judging criteria includes synchronization, choreography, stage utilization, costumes, energy level, prop usage, stage coverage, innovation, presentation, and overall impact on the crowd.
(For FACE-OFF, crowd support and most of all for overshadowing opposite team.)
